3.5T Driver

Driver (3.5T + Trailer)
Hours: 7:30am – 5:00pm

Salary: 30-35k

The role involves the safe and efficient delivery and collection of equipment using a 3.5T vehicle and trailer. As a highly customer-facing position, the successful candidate must be confident dealing with customers, delivering a consistently friendly, helpful and professional service.

Key Responsibilities

• Safely deliver and collect equipment on time and accurately.
• Carry out daily vehicle and trailer safety checks.
• Load, secure and unload equipment correctly.
• Provide excellent customer service at every delivery and collection point.
• Handle basic customer queries professionally and escalate where required.
• Complete delivery and collection documentation using PDA technology.
• Follow all health & safety procedures and company standards.
• Work closely with the Operations Manager and yard team to support efficient operations.

Requirements

• Full UK Driving Licence.
• Proven towing experience (essential).
• Experience driving 3.5T vehicles.
• Strong customer service and communication skills.
• Comfortable using handheld/PDA technology.
• Reliable, punctual and well organised.
• Positive, “can-do” attitude and ability to work in a fast-paced environment.
